Ragamuffin Parade, Silent Disco and Restaurant Week: Your Hamptons Weekend, October 31 and November 1

Halloween lands on a Saturday this year, and the clocks fall back that night. Expect mostly sunny skies on Saturday with a high near 55 and a low near 41, then partly cloudy skies on Sunday with a high near 57. Clocks go back at 2:00 AM on Sunday, so you get an extra hour Saturday night, then a 6:19 AM sunrise and a 4:44 PM sunset on Sunday. Here is where we would spend it.

Guild Hall Halloween Silent Disco, East Hampton. Friday, 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Start the weekend a night early in Guild Hall's Furman Garden, 158 Main Street. Five DJs across three channels, illuminated wireless headphones and costumes. Tickets are $25.

Wolffer After Dark: Halloween Party, Sagaponack. Friday, 7:00 PM. The other Friday option: Wolffer Estate Vineyard, 139 Sagg Road, with a DJ, a costume contest, an open bar of Wolffer wines, beer and cocktails, and light appetizers.

Southampton Ragamuffin Parade. Saturday, 9:30 AM. The parade returns after seven years, stepping off from Shippy's, 36 Windmill Lane, for kids 12 and under in costume. More than 75 businesses hand out candy along a route past Rogers Memorial Library, Main Street and Jobs Lane to the Southampton Playhouse, 43 Hill Street, where the costume contest is at 12:00 PM and all-ages Halloween short films follow at 12:30 PM. Trunk-or-treat is at 2:00 PM at Southampton Elementary, and Elm Street closes for evening trick-or-treating.

Sag Harbor Pumpkin Trail. Saturday, Main Street, Sag Harbor. Participating shops display Pumpkin Trail signs, so you can trick-or-treat while you browse Main Street.

Halloween at Hampton Library, Bridgehampton. Saturday, from 10:00 AM. A costume meet-up on the front lawn at 2478 Main Street, trick-or-treating on Main Street, and the haunted SLED mobile library.

LVIS Halloween Party, East Hampton. Saturday, 2:00 PM. The Ladies' Village Improvement Society, 95 Main Street, hosts seasonal storytelling, themed games, crafts and treat-filled goody bags. Costumes encouraged.

Hank's PumpkinTown, Water Mill. Saturday and Sunday, through November 1. The last weekend at 240 Montauk Highway: apple picking with 14 varieties, the pumpkin patch, cider doughnuts, caramel apples and small-batch hard cider.

Frankenstein (1931) at Sag Harbor Cinema. Saturday, 6:00 PM. Boris Karloff's original at 90 Main Street, with a live solo guitar score by Gary Lucas. The Green Room upstairs is open after for drinks.

Sole East Halloween Party, Montauk. Saturday, from 8:00 PM. The season-closing party: free admission, free bar food, drink specials, a live DJ and costume prizes, including a weekend stay as the grand prize.

Halloween at The Room, The Clubhouse Hamptons, East Hampton. Saturday, from 8:00 PM. At 174 Daniels Hole Road, with dark, elevated dress, masks encouraged and JrInventor DJing. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the door. 21 and up.

Calissa Halloween Party, Water Mill. Saturday, from 9:00 PM. Seated dinner starts at 5:00 PM, then a live DJ, dancing and fall drinks. Best costume wins free drinks for the rest of the year. Reservations strongly encouraged. 21 and up.

Fall Long Island Restaurant Week opens. Sunday, November 1 to Sunday, November 8. The 20th anniversary year: three-course prix fixe menus at $30, $40 and $48, with some $25 two-course lunches. South Fork picks: Nick & Toni's in East Hampton at $48, Bistro Ete in Water Mill at $48, Bridgehampton Inn & Restaurant at $48, and Cowfish in Hampton Bays at $40. Not every restaurant offers the prix fixe on Saturday night, and where they do it often ends by 7:00 PM, so Sunday is the clean opening day.

Cantina Leon at Leon 1909, Shelter Island. Sunday, from 5:00 PM. Leon 1909, 29 West Neck Road, runs as Cantina Leon all weekend, Friday through Sunday. The Puebla menu by chef Armond Joseph includes mole poblano, adobo chicken, ceviche, queso oaxaqueno, antojitos and tacos al pastor, with mezcal-heavy cocktails by bar manager Gillian Georges.
